She urged participants to acquire skills in order to effectively carry out the work of gender mainstreaming in government ministries and agencies.

For his part, the Director for Policy at the Ministry of Gender, Mr. Ndebehwolie Borley said the ministry has been making efforts on how government ministries and agencies can build capacity.

The National Gender Policy, he said, is important for all organizations in Liberia and noted that the Gender Focal Points has a critical role to play in disseminating and implementing the policy.
