PREGNANT women in Kiambu and Nairobi have asked the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to save them from queues during the March 4 elections.

The women also called for special consideration alongside people with disability.

Speaking on behalf of the mothers, Saidia Dada Network Kenya and sanitary towel ambassador Beatrice Githinji said pregnant women were not considered during nominations and are forced to join long queues. Most of them gave up and went home without casting the ballot during the nominations last month.
